Elephant's on Parade Baby Shower

This past weekend I threw my little sister a baby shower. I've been planning it since I found out she was having a girl. I just love all things pink and ruffled! When planning baby showers, I like to make the theme the same as the nursery so that the decorations can double as decor for the baby room also.

I set up an accessory station so the guests could create an accessory for baby Ava. They chose from onsies, hats, hair clips, and head bands.

Here are a few of the onsies that were made.

I'm so thankful for all the family and friends who helped me with the shower. I could never have done it without them!! And I can't wait to meet little Ava! Stay tuned for tutorials and recipes from the party!

Most of the decorations, food, favors and cake were made by me, family or friends but here are a few things we ordered out.

The shower turned out beautifully! Thank you so much for featuring my Stacked Elephant cards, cupcake toppers, and matching papers -- all of the details you put into the shower are simply adorable!

I Love your elephant theme! I would like to know how you made the appliques for onesies? I'm borrowing your accessory table idea:)

Thanks so much! I made the appliqués using the same basic concept as in the post in the link below.

I had the appliqués all cut out and ready on the table but I left the backing on the appliqué so when they were ready to use them they just peeled off the backing and ironed it on the onsie. Hope that helps! Thanks for reading!
