Rolled Linen Flower {Tutorial}

Here is a quick and easy tutorial for a rolled flower. I made these a while ago to embellish the magnetic boards I made for Mother's Day. These would be adorable to embellish a gift, add to a headband, hair clip, shirt or jacket. The possibilities are endless!

You will need:
  • Fabric
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Measuring Tape
First, cut out a strip of fabric about 2 1/4" wide by 28" long. To make your flower bigger just cut your strip longer.

Next, fold the fabric strip in half.

Start the flower by rolling it up into a ball, securing with hot glue. This will create the center of the flower.

Then you start rolling the fabric around the ball, twisting as you go along and securing with hot glue.

Twist and roll, twist and roll.

Got that?

Good. It's easy!

 Don't forget to glue along the way.

After you've twisted and rolled it almost all the way to the end you will save a little fabric to cover the back and secure it with hot glue.

There you have it! An easy flower with tons of potential. And a great way to use up those scraps of fabric!
